This workshop provides a practical introduction to virtual machines and containers, specifically designed for participants with no prior experience. Through the use of VirtualBox and Docker, learners will explore isolated computing environments. The workshop will cover essential skills such as importing and managing virtual machines, running Docker containers, and creating reproducible research workflows using Dockerfiles.
